Consultancy for Domestic Violence Open

On Nov. 25, 2004, International day against gender-based violence, we added one more supporter to our efforts. For the first time Counseling Against Family Violence has procured a full sponsorship for one of our shelters. JT International (a member of Japan Tobacco Group), and its General Director for the Adriatic Region, Haluk Akdemir, recognized the need for an additional domestic violence shelter in Belgrade and announced its sponsorship for our new shelter. This partnership is invaluable to Counseling Against Family Violence and means that we will be able to reach an even greater number of women and children through 2005. We hope that in the future more companies will work with us in the same manner.
